Yme’s is a Non Governmental organization that has been created in the late eighties and registered by the Norwegian Authorities in 1993. Yme has established its self as a professional organization in water and sanitation focusing particularly on marginalized people, women and children. From 2006, Yme established its head office Vegårshei with the aim to strengthen its profile as a small, specialized humanitarian organization that support development of the poorest regions where few other organizations are present.
Yme’s vision is Improved Water and Sanitation conditions and Vocational Training as a sustainable pathway for poverty alleviation.
